Charges by Time and Complexity of a design.
Cost works out to apx $2 to $8 per 1,000 stitches depending on
size and details.
All designs are test sewn at 1,000 SPM, without thread breaks, before
sending.
FROLIC
provides high quality smooth running designs.
All our finely edited designs can be run at high speeds of up to 1,200
SPM.
Multihead
machines will run at much higher speeds than you normally expected.
FROLIC
DESIGNS have the minimum density to create a full solid looking design. We
pay close attention to detail to ensure the minimum amount of trims, jumps and
color changes, saving you valuable time. We
will accommodate any special requests if more or less of the above is wanted.

Clean crisp artwork
is the most important thing
We generally
need to blow up the artwork a minimum of 200%
What are you sewing
on? All fabrics react differently to embroidery
For best results.
You should have multiple design versions for different types of fabrics
Additional versions
for use on other fabrics is generally only an additional $15 - $20
This can make
a world of difference to the final look of your designs
Polar Fleece
material for example needs much more density then other fabrics
(e.g. What sews well on a T-shirt or denim, may not work well on hats, knits or
lycra)
Colours?
light colors on darks for instance need much more density
What backing do
you intend to use?
Cut-away or tear-away make a difference in the amount of pull in you design
Thread type?
If you can use a 30 weight thread, it can drastically reduce stitch counts
on fills
Size? tell us
the exact size you need.
Multiple sizes
is much less when they are ordered at the same time.
Again, the more
information you can give the better your designs will look.
